Welcome to Falcon Heights Equestrian Center's website. The complex is set on 275 acres in the heart of Virginia horse country, Virginia Beach. We can currently house up to 128 resident horses, as well as up to 160 temporary horses visiting for live cover breeding or overnight stay for shows.
Here at Falcon Heights we focus mostly on breeding, training, showing, and selling quality Show Jumpers and Eventers, but we also breed, train, show, and sell horses that compete in Hunter and Dressage. We have several high caliber studs as well as mares and geldings that are proving themselves at the highest level of competition in their discipline. Top level competitors are the cornerstone of our program, but we also have many lower level 'stationary' competitors that won't be hitting the high levels as well as several young up and coming stars with the potential and capability to join some of their stablemates in a few years at the top levels of competition. More information for each of our horses is available on the Stallions, Show Horses, Sale Horses, and Retired Horses links listed above.
Great horses would be nothing without great trainers and riders to school, train, and show them. We currently have 6 Show Jumping riders, 3 Hunter riders, 6 Eventing riders, and 4 Dressage riders currently working the horses here. Among those riders, 2 trainers work with just the horses and 5 trainers double as coaches for their fellow riders and help to train their horses. We have a few high school and college students that come up during the week or on the weekends to work and show their horses, and a few of the riders live on the property to take care of the horses. More information for each of the riders is available on the Riders link in the list above.
